| St. Clare’s is unique. It offers students from all over the world the opportunity to pursue a first-class education in Oxford. St. Clare’s was founded in 1953 with a mission to promote international education and understanding and has been doing so successfully ever since.
We offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Liberal Arts and University Foundation Courses and English language courses throughout the year.
St. Clare's occupies two campuses in north Oxford, 1.5 km from the city centre.
The college is the longest-established provider of the International Baccalaureate Diploma in England, and one of the most experienced in the world. As well as UK, students come from over 40 nationalities to take the 2-year IB Diploma. An IB preparation course is also offered, plus short summer IB introduction and revision courses. In 2005, St. Clare's achieved its best ever IB results, with a 97% pass rate and over 54% achieving 35 points or more (generally regarded as equivalent to 3 grade A's at A level). Classes are small, residential houses are located within easy walking distance of the main campus, and a full range of activities, sports and visits is provided. Bursaries and scholarships for the IB are available. Open Days - Thursday 19 January and Saturday 29 April 2006. |
