| Radley Pre-School has been in existence for more than 30 years. Since January 1998 the pre-school has been housed in its own premises in the grounds of Radley C of E Primary School, with which it has close links. The group is administered by a committee of parents who are elected annually. Most of the children come from the local community of Radley and the remainder from the nearby town of Abingdon and the surrounding villages. All the children are from a wide range of social and economic backgrounds.
The Pre-School is open from Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 11:45am, between 12:45pm and 3:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and between 1:00pm and 3:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday, concurrent with the regular school year. It is registered for 24 children aged between three and four years old. The afternoon 1:00pm till 3:00pm sessions are solely for children aged between 2½ and 3 years old, and has a session limit of 12 children. |
